RAQTweak End of Life - RAQ2/RAQ3 and partially RAQ4 / XTR

February 1st, 2006

After long consideration, we decided to drop all updates for the RAQ2 and RAQ3. Since these servers are too old, we see no reason to provide support for them anymore. As for the XTR, we find this to be an extremely buggy system. This even has been acknowledged by Sun/Cobalt.

We recommend that RAQ3/4 / XTR users upgrade: RACKSTAR upgrade

For the RAQ4 and XTR we only provide upgrades and fixes for urgent security issues. Other software will no longer be updated. We recommend you upgrade your old, vulnerable RAQ to the new RACKSTAR OS today!

Obsolete products for RAQ3:


AWStats

 - AWStats version 6.4 or lower only.
MailScanner Anti-Virus - Uses older version of ClamAV and MailScanner, plus does not support "per site" feature.

OpenWebmail

 - Only v2.40. (1.71 for RAQ2)

PHP/SQL Bundle

 - PHP and mySQL versions no longer upgraded. We may install an older version of PHP. (PHP 4.3.9, etc).

SecuMAX Security Bundle

 - Does not include the

Live!Guard Security Tool

. Does not support PHP hardening, SSH restrictions and host deny/allow reset.

SPAM KILLER

 - Uses older versions of Razor, DCC and SpamAssassin. Does not support OCR, DNS-RBL and "per site" feature.

Webmin

 - Older versions.
