Do you also hate it when a customer asks for a mySQL database? All that stupid time consuming work for a simple database? First of all, it's not really easy to do. But once you get the hang of it, it is just annoying and time consuming.Be annoyed no longer! Our MySQL Wizard is the solution to your problem.
The MySQL Wizard allows you to specify an amount of MySQL databases a site is allowed to have, and then the customer is in full control of his/her databases. All you have to do is tell the server how many databases, and the rest is out of your hands!
The customer (site administrator) can:
• Create his own databases
• Delete his own databases
• Backup his own databases (download in ZIP format)
• Reset his mySQL user's password
To keep things organized, the database names will be (e.g.) "domain_com_1", "domain_2_com", etc. The mySQL username "domain_com". This way you never get confused which database belongs to who.
A site administrator can of course not change his mySQL username, nor the amount of databases he/she is allowed to have.
